Today I reflect upon the horrifying truths of the 'games of war.' It is no secret how Man has come to learn how to protect himself and the objects of his affection and with deadly force if need be. Nonetheless, in that equation, and in the games of war, Man must consider the weight of taking human lives to protect those of his affection? Does the Creator consider the lives that will be loss in His Day, any less?
In Vengeance of War, I have often reflected upon statements made by the Master from His Eternal Inspired Word that are considered unpropitiously and 'leftwinged' by many in this world; and how seemingly cold and indifferent in His attitude concerning Retribution. Unlike the God that I heard about when I was a child. Nevertheless, through the writings of V.O.W. I have come to see another side of the Creator that many preachers and teachers of the Word around my parts, then and now, have not taught about the 'Wrath of God' as much as it should have been. And so, I had no previous concrete and fertile knowledge or idea, about the depth and 'severity' of God's Word, and therefore, through the writings of 'Vengenace' I had come to see and thoroughly believe that He definitely has a side of vengeance and retribution. Amen.
In the Bible, Revelation speaks of four horsemen who are loosed upon the Earth to bring Mankind Apostasy, War, Famine, and severe Pestilence. Well, one might say, these things have long since been upon Mankind, so why is so hard for everyone to understand that?
True, true, nothing is new under the Sun about war, famine, apostasy or pestilences. But the main thing is, I think, these particular ones are set upon the Earth by the 'Cup' of God's Anger. I think that is the contributing factor that I am concerned with here; mainly because of the magnitude and extent of Him unleashing anything contrary to Man's good, can be pretty hard to handle. Ouch!
Now, The horror of War has swept the World since Cain killed Abel. It has been the result of Man’s murderous temper toward his fellow man.
The 'Fruits of War' can be nothing less than terror, destruction, economic upheaval, orphaned children and dead ones, populations displaced, widespread devastation of the land and vegetation, rape of men, women, and children, hunger or starvation, disease, untold suffering, misery, despair, maiming and crippling, atrocities, death and even genocide. I believe the leaders or the "kings of the Earth" realize this horrific result, expoentially.
Revelation 6:4 reads: “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”
The parallel passage in Matthew 24:6-7, to better understand the meaning of this symbolic horseman reads: “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…” representing the dreadful devastation of armed conflict between and within nations.
This tells my 'common sense' that well, words like 'the end is not yet' allows me not to digest the intensity of this warning to its full capacity, and allowing me to 'put things off' for awhile. Ladies and Gentlemen, that is your 'carnal' mind processing and warring against the 'Spirit of Truth.'
Every morning you pick up the paper, there are revolutions, commotions, upheavals, and disorders particularly in the Middle Eastern countries and even here at home; a scene where most of the end of days prophecies are taking place and will play out. It isn't any wonder as my interests have grown toward eschatology, that I have found a growing number of people actually concerned with and are knowledgeable of prescience so as it is to me, and therefore, it is of some indication that end time scenarios are no longer waiting in the wings.
Of the nation’s familiar from biblical history and prophecy, Egypt was among the first to develop the art of war as an organized endeavor. Yet it was the Assyrians who developed and perfected many military techniques. The sword, for example, the weapon held by the Red Horse’s rider, is said to have been introduced into war by the Assyrians. Assyrian military advances, far surpassed all other powers, due to their ability to borrow effective techniques pioneered by others alongside their own inventions.
The following quotes are from The Harper Encyclopedia of Military History: Now global war is inevitable, so please be patient with your self.
“No effort was spared that would contribute to the efficiency of the Army or assure continued Assyrian supremacy over all possible foes… it was the skill and organization of employment which brought success to Assyrian siege craft…Terror was another factor contributing greatly to Assyrian success. Their exceptional cruelty and ferocity were possibly reflections of callousness developed over centuries…But theirs was also a calculated policy of terror—possibly the earliest example of organized psychological warfare. It was not unusual for them to kill every man, woman, and child in captured cities. Sometimes they would carry away entire populations into captivity.”
GOD has often used the Assyrians to punish the Nation of Israel as His “Rod of Correction” (Isa. 10:5-6). But there were times that He suppressed the Assyrians’ power so that they would be out of the picture for a while as well.
There are principles or laws which govern many things. For example, gravity, light, weight, and combustion. Now, speaking sorely as a layperson of science, I cannot elaborate on any of the aforementioned. However, laws or rules, are used as guidelines so that hurt, harm, or danger, will not come upon you. Therefore, consider these things mentioned in this article, and consider them very carefully. Jesus said, ,'the time is at hand' in Revelation, and 'the time is fulfilled for the kingdom of God is at hand' in Mark. All things are now fulfilled - "Christ came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets - It is Done" Therefore we must work while it is day; when the night comes, no man can work.
Sometimes I see ourselves no better than the precious Israelites when the Messiah came; they didn't receive Jesus whole heartedly; they looked for another, or someone other than of their own. Ouch!
What I'm saying is, and its all over the Internet, prophecy, the prophetic in the news, its no secret:the prophets pleaded then, just like they are doing today, will you listen? You may even say, 'Well what can I do about anything? I cann't save the world.' True. Christ came, to redeem us from the curse of the Law.
Christ also came and said this: "But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in Heaven."
This is what's impertive to all those preaching the prophets, dear souls; and believe this, the Almighty takes His prophets through a few things--even Hell--before His Word goes out through them. We don't want you or anyone else to go to Hell--its not made for humans, but for Satan and his angels. Ouch!
